I have no dance experience, can I take part?
OF COURSE!! All of our classes are suitable for all ages, abilities, shapes & sizes. We will liaise with you prior to the class to get a good understanding of your group's level and requirements. We will work with you during the class and adapt the class to your groups pace so that everyone is happy. Have a read through our testimonials - they speak for themselves!
What should I wear?
Here at LDP, we encourage our dance class participants to really get into the theme of their class, therefore we welcome fancy dress and any fun props and accessories! If dressing up isn't for you - then we usually recommend something comfortable e.g - leggings/shorts and a t-shirt/vest with trainers/flat shoes (heels are suitable for some classes however please also bring a pair of flats with you). *Disclaimer* Bare feet are not permitted at our venues. Should you wish to remove your shoes during the class, you do so at your own risk.
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking. For larger groups this may vary. All deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due up to 14 days prior to your booking.
I don't want to dance, can I sit and watch?
Of course! If there are members of your group who do not wish to take part in the class, they are welcome to sit and cheer from the sidelines - they can be our LDP paparazzi for the day! They will not be charged to sit and watch. All we ask is that you notify us in advance.
LDP hire out various venues around Liverpool City Centre for our dance classes. Dance studios are our first choice, however, there is limited dance studio availability around the city centre so it is necessary for us to hire various bar and function rooms. This means that flooring may not be appropriate for bare feet, so we ask that all LDP class participants bring a flat pair of comfortable shoes to dance in.
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive on time for your class. We suggest aiming to get there 10 minutes before your time slot in order to get prepared for your class/change clothes/get into costumes. All venues are booked on an hourly basis and there are other bookings before/after your chosen time slot, therefore classes must start promptly and cannot run over. Unfortunately, any time lost due to late arrival cannot be replaced.
Will there be refreshments?
We recommend that each LDP participant brings a bottle of water for the class. This applies to 'Sip & Slay' participants also, as this package includes a glass of bubbly and although this tastes great, you may need water once you get dancing!
-Participants attend the class at their own risk. If you are unsure, please consult your GP first.
-It is the responsibility of the client making the booking to share all T+C's, info, etc provided to them by LDP, with the rest of their party well in advance of the class. LDP cannot be responsible for clients not reading the information provided to them.
